CMHC Continuing Study Guides (CSG, 2009)

The CSGs are intended for use by groups that have already participated in any IAITMH Mentorship experience. The CSGs provide a format and content for groups that wish to continue to meet and extend their learning activities in infant mental health.

Each CSG includes:

• Suggested background Resources
• Topic Overview
• Learning Goal and related Objectives
• Expanding Objective
• Discussion Points
• References and Recommended Readings

Organizing Your Group:

We suggest that groups meet regularly for 1-2 hour time slots. It may be helpful to have members rotate taking responsibility for leading the meeting, using the CSG as a guide. All members of the group should review the CSG and read the background readings. The leader can use the Discussion Points to begin and direct the group as needed.
